Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd is looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join their Coventry team on a permanent, day-shift basis. You will program, set and operate Hurco CNC milling centres, working from drawings and CAD models to produce precision components.

The role covers 3- and 4-axis machining, offline programming using HyperMILL/OneCNC, and close collaboration with the engineering team to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong experience with Hurco machining centres.
• Experience with 3- or 4-axis milling.
• Experience using offline CAD/CAM systems.
• Knowledge of HyperMILL and/or OneCNC would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate 3- and 4-axis CNC milling machines.
• Work predominantly on Hurco machining centres.
• Set up Doosan CNC machines.
• Create and edit CNC programmes.
• Offline programming with HyperMILL and OneCNC.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select tooling and determine speeds/feeds.
• Set tooling, work offsets and machine parameters.
• First-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Produce one-off, prototype and small-batch components.
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to complete jobs on time.
