Contek Recruitment Solutions LTD. is representing a long-established precision engineering and toolmaking business in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. They seek a Multi-Skilled Machinist / CNC Miller Programmer to join a small, highly skilled team.

The role involves operating manual and CNC milling/turning, programming 3-axis mills, and using AlphaCAM to produce programmes. You will read detailed drawings, set tooling, and deliver one-off and small-batch components in a permanent, 37-hour

Qualifications

• Experience in precision engineering and machining.
• Ability to program 3-axis CNC mills from engineering drawings.
• AlphaCAM experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate both manual and CNC milling and turning machinery.
• Program CNC milling on 3-axis XYZ machines from drawings.
• Set and operate CNC mills; check components meet tolerances.
