Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable 3.5 tonne Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in South Ruislip. The role combines driving and delivering archive boxes and medical records, with occasional warehouse duties.

Shift times may start as early as 6:00 AM. You will load/unload, check paperwork, and perform vehicle checks while ensuring confidentiality and safety. Temporary, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driving licence for 3.5 tonne van.
• Be reliable, punctual and flexible across shift times.
• Able to read and understand Health & Safety instructions and paperwork.
• Maintain discretion with confidential information.
• demonstrate professional manner and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van safely and responsibly.
• Complete deliveries and collections promptly and professionally.
• Load and unload the vehicle and handle boxes safely.
• Check items against delivery paperwork and record data accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults.
• Handle medical records and archive materials securely and confidentially.
• Assist with picking orders and moving archive boxes in the warehouse.
• Follow Health & Safety instructions and keep areas clean.
