Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking a reliable 3.5-tonne Driver to join our team, delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations while maintaining high service standards. The role requires physical fitness to lift heavy loads and compliance with safety procedures.

Key duties include loading/unloading, daily vehicle checks, providing delivery signatures, and adhering to road safety rules. The position runs 8am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, on an ongoing temporary basis.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to lift heavy loads.
• Safe operation of a 3.5-tonne vehicle.
• Ability to load and unload goods safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to clients and customers within designated areas
• Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of deliveries
• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies at all times
• Assist in warehouse activities when required, including stock movement and organisation
