Job summary

Driver Hire Oxford is looking for a reliable 3.5T Delivery Driver to join our team in Bicester. You will deliver orders safely, efficiently and on time, representing the company with friendly customer service at every drop-off.

You should be physically fit for loading/unloading, able to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule, with a full UK driving licence and no more than 3 points. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with up to 3 points.
• Experience driving 3.5T vehicles preferred but not essential.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading deliveries.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and manage a delivery schedule.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a 3.5T Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering orders safely, efficiently and on time to customers and businesses. You will represent the company professionally and provide excellent customer service at every delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving a 3.5T delivery vehicle safely and responsibly
• Completing deliveries to customers across your allocated route
• Loading and unloading goods
• Checking orders and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring goods are handled carefully and delivered in good condition
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any issues
• Following all company, road safety and delivery procedures

We are looking for drivers who are:

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Friendly and professional with customers
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to manage a busy delivery schedule
• Physically fit enough to load and unload deliveries
• Experienced in delivery driving (preferred but not essential)
• Legally entitled to drive a 3.5T vehicle in the UK
• A full UK driving licence is required - no more than 3 points
