Job summary

Pickfords Move Management Limited, the UK's leading moving and relocation company, seeks reliable Driver/Porters to join the removals team. You will safely pack, load, transport and unload customers’ belongings on domestic and commercial moves across the UK, delivering a professional and friendly service as part of a crew.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Safely packing, loading, transporting and unloading customers' belongings.

Completing domestic and commercial removals throughout the UK.

Providing a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers.

Working as part of a removals crew to ensure moves run smoothly.

Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks where required.

Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Supporting colleagues and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction on every move.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid UK driving licence (essential).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A positive, flexible and professional attitude.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented.
• Previous experience in removals, logistics, delivery driving, transport, warehousing or a similar role would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
• Availability for occasional weekend work.

Licences

• 3.5T licence holders welcome.
• 7.5T licence holders welcome.
• LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence advantageous but not essential.
