Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Delivery Driver (3.5 Tonne) for Morecambe. You will deliver and collect hire equipment to customers in the local area, driving a 3.5 tonne flatbed van and acting as the face of the business with strong customer service.

This temporary role runs Monday to Friday (07:30–17:00, 42 hours) with a potential extension beyond 9th October. A full UK manual driving licence is required and applicants should have good knowledge of the local area and a safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience driving within the UK.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect hire equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Plan routes effectively and maintain delivery schedules.
• Support operational teams as required.
• Contribute towards the company ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
