Job Role: 3 & 5 Axis CNC Miller (Aerospace)

Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield (NG17)
Salary: Dependant on Experience

Role Overview:
Seeking experienced CNC Millers to set and operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines for high-precision aerospace components. The role involves working with Haas, Matsuura, and DMG Mori machines, primarily using Fanuc-based controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines
• Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight aerospace tolerances
• Conduct first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Adjust offsets and program edits as required
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical challenges

Requirements:

• Proven experience setting and operating 3 and/or 5 axis CNC milling machines
• Familiarity with Haas, Matsuura, and/or DMG Mori equipment
• Strong understanding of Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Aerospace sector experience highly desirable
• Willingness to work overtime as required
