Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Technician II on 2nd shift at our Duncan, SC facility. The role focuses on mid-to-senior level maintenance, including predictive and preventive tasks, plus equipment upgrades and repairs.

The position requires strong diagnostic skills, ability to read blueprints, and experience with machining, welding, and electrical systems. Travel and lifting are part of the job, with safety and 5S+ standards emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must reside within 50 miles of the Duncan, SC facility.
• Associates degree with a technical focus AND 3 years of related industry experience; OR 5 years of related industry experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid-to-experience level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
• Construct/alter physical facilities to accommodate changes or improvements.
• Identify and source parts and supplies.
• Repair items as necessary.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards.
• Operate multiple machining operations and welding tasks as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement activities and 5S+ standards.
• Troubleshoot control systems and assist other technicians.
