Job summary
GM Performance Power Units is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our Concord, NC facility. You will set up, program, and operate advanced CNC machines to produce high-precision power unit components in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, a machine shop certificate, and strong CAD/CAM and control experience (Fanuc/Siemens). We offer a comprehensive benefits package and excellent growth opportunities within a startup-style team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of practical working experience in manufacturing / metal-cutting.
- Certificate in machine shop technology or machine tool technology/machinist.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC equipment to manufacture components to high quality standards.
- Maintain in-process inspection and tool-life records for reliability and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering to adjust machines and bring parts into spec.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
