Xerox IT Services UK is seeking an IT Support Technician for a hybrid role based in Southampton. The primary duties include responding to IT support requests via phone and email, performing maintenance tasks, and guiding issues to the appropriate teams.

The position requires onsite work at the client’s office in Southampton SO15 2AE, with a transition to hybrid after induction. Responsibilities include incident resolution, ticket management, knowledge base maintenance, and ensuring ISO27001

Formación

• A good understanding of IT and networks.
• Knowledge of desktop, server and printer hardware and their components.
• Knowledge of network devices and their roles.
• Strong customer facing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and resolve incidents and aim to meet response and resolution SLAs.
• Manage, update and close tickets in the Service Management toolset per ITIL.
• Coordinate with suppliers or internal teams for resolution.
• Develop and maintain the Knowledge Base.
• Ensure configuration documents are current and up to date.
• Follow change, configuration and problem management processes.
• Provide remote desktop support to clients.
• Build rapport with clients to foster positive relationships.
• Assist in team development and company success.
