Job summary

Corpay is hiring a 2nd Line Support Specialist for the UK Product Support division, based in the Sheffield office. You will provide expert advice and problem solving to customers, manage incidents and liaise with IT teams, while working in an agile sprint environment.

Training and workspace are provided. You will collaborate across teams, understand customer requirements, and deliver effective configuration solutions, including user training and implementation support.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting business-critical software applications in a customer-facing environment.
  • Background in Application/Software Support, QA, UAT, or 2nd/3rd line support roles.
  • Exposure to Agile development and cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication skills and a passion to help customers.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking and software test processes (QA/UAT).

  • Providing expert advice, problem solving, and support to new and existing customers using the business software applications.
  • Managing of software incidents and tickets, including replicating and documenting the incidents.
  • Liaise between the application users and development/technical IT teams.
  • Work as part of an agile sprint team, including testing for new features and supporting software releases.
  • Work with customers to understand requirements and configurations.
  • Providing virtual or onsite user training and support for customers, including implementation strategies/setup.

Your role

Corpay is currently looking to hire a 2nd Line Support Specialist on a permanent basis within the UK Product Support division. This position falls under our r2c line of business and is based in our Sheffield office. In this role you will encounter a diverse role that will require you to become a business expert in everything within the software application. You will provide advice and expert problem solving to our existing and new customers. You will report into the Head of Customer Operations and regularly collaborate with other teams within the division.

As a 2nd Line Support Specialist, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities


  • Providing expert advice, problem solving, and support to new and existing customers using the business software applications.

  • Managing of software incidents and tickets, including replicating and documenting the incidents.

  • Managing, facilitate, and liaise between the application users and development/technical IT teams.

  • Working as a member of an agile sprint team, responsible for unit, regression, and user acceptance testing against new and existing features, as well as actively supporting new software releases.

  • Working with new and existing customers to understand their requirements for the solutions and the best configuration for these requirements.

  • Providing virtual or onsite user training and support for both new and existing customers, including working with a project manager on the implementation strategies/setup.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Experience supporting business-critical software applications in a customer-facing environment.

  • Previous experience in Application Support, Software Support, QA, UAT, or 2nd/3rd Line application Support roles.

  • Ideal candidate would have previous experience in QA/UAT testing or supporting software solutions (2nd or 3rd line).

  • Any exposure to tools such as TFS/JIRA/SQL Studio would be advantageous, but not essential.

  • Degree or similar education.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • A passion to help and provide solutions.

  • Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
