Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced Joiner for a large-scale industrial refurbishment project in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The role is predominantly 2nd-fix joinery, working with other trades to maintain programme and finish quality.

You will install doors, frames, skirting, architraves and ironmongery, work from drawings, coordinate with other trades, and ensure high-quality finishing while maintaining a clean and safe site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a joiner/carpenter, particularly 2nd-fix.
• Experience on commercial/industrial refurbishment projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team.
• Attention to detail and finishing quality.
• CSCS card required.
• Own tools and PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out 2nd-fix Joinery works across the industrial refurbishment.
• Installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves, ironmongery, and other joinery items.
• Completing finishing and snagging works as required.
• Working from drawings and specifications.
• Coordinating with other trades on site.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
