Our client is seeking a 2nd CHEF to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. Working within a private club environment you must be passionate, experienced and a team player.

This is a busy, fast paced and dynamic environment. For the right candidate this could lead to a permanent position at the client’s discretion.

• Being proactive, highly organised, approachable and passionate about food
• A flair and enthusiasm for cooking with fresh quality ingredients
• Ability to cope under pressure, in a calm and efficient manner to set deadlines
• Previous experience demonstrating good management and effective co-ordination of a kitchen team
• Good interpersonal skills with both kitchens, front of house staff and management
• Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving
• Positive and flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required)
• A positive approach to menu planning and development of the catering service
• Immaculate personal presentation and excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience of catering in a busy, large-scale operation
• Previous kitchen budget control and menu costing experience an advantage
• Intermediate food hygiene certificate, level 2
• Own transport will be required due to location
