Beaumaris Dairies is seeking a motivated 2IC to join the team near Lincoln, NZ. The role involves hands-on farm operations, working closely with the manager and team to ensure the smooth running of a 650-cow, 50-bale rotary dairy operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time dairy farming experience.
• Completed Primary ITO Level 3 qualification (Level 4 or tertiary education preferred).
• Current full driver’s license and eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Available for an in-person interview.

Responsabilités

• Support daily farm operations including pasture walks, feed allocation, and planning.
• Weekly reporting of farm performance data.
• Staff supervision and management.
• Monitor and maintain animal health and welfare.
• Take responsibility for overall farm operations in the manager’s absence.
• Assist with rostered shifts and adapt to seasonal roster changes.
