Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking an enthusiastic SENCo to lead and develop SEND provision across the ACE WRAP Exeter site. The role focuses on strategic development, day-to-day management of SEND, and ensuring statutory requirements are met to achieve outstanding pupil outcomes.
The successful candidate will work with school leaders, staff, parents and external agencies, coordinating EHCPs and data-driven interventions while supporting staff development and inclusive teaching.

FTE Salary Range: MPS 1 - UPS 3 + SEN Min, £32,916 - £51,047 +£2,787
Actual Salary Range: £19,749-£30,628 + £1,672
Contract Type: Permanent / part time / term time only
Contract Hours: 19.5 per week

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated SENCo to lead and develop our SEND provision. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or existing SENCo to play a key strategic role in shaping inclusive practice and ensuring outstanding outcomes for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As SENCo, you will work closely with school leaders, teaching staff, parents, carers and external agencies to create an environment where every learner feels valued, supported and able to succeed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day management of SEND provision across the school. This includes coordinating support for individual pupils, ensuring statutory requirements are met and championing high-quality inclusive teaching.
Leading the strategic development of SEND policy and provision across the school.
Managing and maintaining the SEND register and provision map.
Supporting and advising colleagues on effective SEND practice and quality first teaching.
Working collaboratively with parents, carers, local authorities and external professionals.
Coordinating and reviewing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Monitoring the impact of interventions and using data to drive improvement.
Leading and developing teaching assistants and delivering staff training.
Contributing to whole-school improvement planning and inclusive practice.
