Job summary

Sing Education Limited is a leading provider of music education in schools, recruiting and training passionate music teachers to deliver singing-led curricula from Nursery to Year 6. This full-time role offers permanent placement in Sing Education primary schools, with teaching from 1 to 5 days per week and a focus on inspiring students through the power of music.

You'll lead whole-class music lessons, run choirs and after-school clubs, and collaborate with school teams.

Qualifications

• University graduate with a degree in music or a related field.
• Experience in classroom teaching or instruction with children.

Responsibilities

• Teach singing-led whole-class music lessons to primary students.

• Weekly teaching, full school day - 8.45am-3.30/4.30pm, term time
• Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/s

Requirements

Qualifications

University graduate with a degree in music or a related field

Skills and Knowledge

Strong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies

Excellent command of spoken and written English

Capability to conduct whole‑class music lessons

Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use

Understanding of the National Curriculum for music

Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite

Experience

Experience in classroom teaching or one‑on‑one instruction

Previous work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership role

Compensation

• Full‑time Salary PA: £24,867 - £32,542 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5‑point progressive pay scale.

• 7 - 40 hours per week - 38 weeks per year + paid training.
