NHS Lanarkshire is recruiting a School Nurse to provide an accessible, person-centred service for vulnerable school-aged children identified as needing extra support. You will collaborate with children, families, carers and partner agencies to plan, implement and evaluate health programmes.
The role emphasises prevention, early intervention and multiagency collaboration to improve health outcomes for children and young people.

The post holder will provide an accessible, person centred effective school nursing service for vulnerable school aged children who have been identified as being at risk and requiring additional support. This will be achieved by working in partnership with children, young people, families, carers and partner agencies.
A continuous focus on prevention, early intervention and support will prevail and concentrate on the ten priority areas under overarching themes of vulnerable children and families, mental health and wellbeing, and risk taking behaviours.
The post holder will be responsible for a caseload and function as an autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, experience and proficiency
