Job summary

Arla Foods’ Stourton Dairy in Leeds is seeking a Shift Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot our 24/7 production lines, including fillings, chilling systems and conveyors, while driving continuous improvement across the site.

You will join an experienced engineering team, using SAP PM/CMMS, RCA techniques and strong safety practices. The role follows a 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) on a regulated FMCG site.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills essential.
• Clear communication across teams and functions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver breakdown support across complex production lines.
• Carry out planned maintenance and servicing via CMMS.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using RCA techniques.
• Champion health and safety standards and participate in risk assessments.
