Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Security Liaison Officer for Arnold Lodge in Leicester. The role requires working within the 24-hour Control Room, handling access control, security monitoring, and after-hours reception for visitors and professionals.

Ideal candidates will have GCSEs or equivalent, be IT literate, and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Good basic education - GCSE's or equivalent.
• Willingness to train in use of computer security systems.
• Excellent communication skills/ verbal and written.
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional security service to the hospital.
• Control access to the site and monitor security technologies including key management and alarms.
• Provide a reception service outside normal office hours for visitors and professionals.
• Record security checks and liaise with wards and departments.
• Co-ordinate security equipment, keys, and CCTV systems and respond to incidents.
