Job summary

Fujitsu in Basingstoke is seeking an Infrastructure Technician to support the Shared Service with 24/7 infrastructure tasks on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern.

You will handle incident, problem, patch management, and change activities across Microsoft servers, VMware, networks, and ITSM tools, with a focus on security, monitoring, and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with Active Directory services and ITSM tooling.
• Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 and RDS.
• Experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter virtualization.
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching; familiarity with Firepower/ASA.
• Experience with Trellix EPO and anti-virus management.
• Knowledge of secure IT infrastructures and monitoring tools such as Zabbix.

Responsibilities

• Event management: monitor system notifications and act on events.
• Incident management: log, triage and coordinate resolution with 3rd parties.
• Support service management reporting on incidents.
• Problem management: monitor and resolve problems per SLA.
• Patch and signature deployment for Microsoft servers using WSUS and security tools.
• Participate in change management activities.
• Process service requests including access changes in secure environments.
