Role Overview:

The Lead Purchasing and Invoicing Officer is a new role within the Pharmacologistics team. The post holder will procure medicinal products for hospital sites in compliance with the organisation's Standing Financial Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring a safe, cost-effective, efficient, and quality service.

Key responsibilities include managing off-contract claims, supporting staff in resolving medicine supply issues and product recalls, reconciling invoices against delivery documentation, and facilitating prompt payments by resolving invoice errors and anomalies.

About You:

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated, with supervision skills, the ability to work under pressure, and flexibility. Candidates should have a SCQF level 8 qualification (e.g., HND) in business administration or a relevant subject, or equivalent experience in a similar administrative role.
