The Role

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing care programmes, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The post holder is expected to perform care duties independently and may supervise registered and unregistered staff, including student nurses.

Note: Duties may vary depending on the ward/department and patient dependency levels.

Additional Requirements After 2 Years Post Registration

The post holder will supervise and coordinate staff within the ward or department to promote best practices. In the absence of senior staff, the post holder will provide cover to ensure ward operations.
