We are looking for a self-motivated Health Promotion Assistant to provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team. Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have:
Join NHS Lanarkshire and be part of a team dedicated to patient-centered healthcare across rural and urban communities. We serve a population of 655,000 through hospital services, primary healthcare, and social care partnerships.
Applicants should possess a formal administrative or secretarial qualification (e.g., HNC/HND) or equivalent experience, experience supervising staff, and ideally hold a full clean driving license. Strong computer skills, including database use and report creation, are essential. Experience in health promotion settings and organizing training is preferred. Candidates should have at least three years of secretarial experience, be self-motivated team players, and willing to undertake ongoing training.
Experience with PowerPoint, desktop publishing, and database management, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize and work independently.
Fixed-term or secondment for 22 months, part-time (14.8 hours/week). Salary is pro-rata. Applicants must have line manager approval for secondments.
Based in Beckford Street, Hamilton. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00 pro-rata. Similar roles may be considered in other locations.
