Brevan Howard in London offers a 10-week Summer Internship in Systematic Trading for penultimate-year undergraduates or first-year Master’s students with strong math and coding skills.

The program begins with a training week, followed by exposure to multiple global teams in trading, including execution trading and research, with mentoring, talks, and social events to support development and assess fit for the 2028 Graduate Program.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year undergrad or first-year Master’s student, GPA 3.6+ (or 2:1) awarded before July 2028.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, CS, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics or other STEM field.
• Strong mathematical, quantitative and problem-solving abilities.
• Programming experience in Python required.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets, trading, and related products.

Responsibilities

• Gain insights into trading activity across regions and events.
• Solve optimisation problems using advanced math and Python.
• Create real systems to improve day-to-day trading activity.
• Conduct independent research and communicate findings to guide decisions.
