Role title: Graduate Surveyor – Building Surveying, Commercial & Planning (September 2027 start)
About this role:
Our Manchester Graduate Programme offers an exciting opportunity to begin your career in one of the UK's leading property and planning consultancies. Depending on your chosen pathway, you will join either our Building Surveying, Commercial or our Planning team whilst gaining exposure to a range of specialist disciplines across the business.
During your first year, you'll undertake a series of rotations lasting two months each across four different divisions providing valuable insight into the wider property industry and helping you build a strong foundation for your APC and professional qualification. Whether you're working towards MRICS or MRTPI status, you'll gain practical experience, work alongside industry experts and contribute to real client projects from day one.
As a graduate no two days are the same. You may find yourself attending client meetings, undertaking site inspections, supporting planning applications and appeals, assisting with lease renewals or valuations, producing reports or collaborating with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
What we’re looking for.
Professional Development
Your development is our priority. Throughout the programme you'll receive dedicated support from experienced professionals, including an APC Supervisor and Counsellor or equivalent professional mentors, depending on your pathway.
You'll benefit from regular reviews, structured training and practical experience designed to support your progression towards MRICS or MRTPI qualification. Our well-established support network has successfully helped many graduates achieve chartered status and develop rewarding careers at Rapleys.
