WTW in Reigate offers a two to three year apprenticeship in retirement actuarial work, with learning on the job and support from experienced colleagues. You will build data skills, use numbers, and contribute to client-ready analyses while developing professional confidence.

You’ll start with no need for prior pensions experience; the team will mentor you, provide study materials and time, and guide your progress toward exams and a portfolio as part of the Level 4 apprenticeship.

• At least three A-Levels, including a B in Maths
• An interest in working with numbers, problem solving and understanding how data can be used
• A positive attitude to learning new things and asking questions
• Good communication skills and a willingness to work with others as part of a team
• The ability to stay organised, manage your time and balance work with study
• Basic computer skills; some experience of Excel would be helpful, but we will help you develop this further

Qualifications

Requirements:

We’re looking for people who are curious, motivated and ready to learn. You’ll be supported throughout the two to threeyear apprenticeship programme as you build your confidence, knowledge and professional skills.To be considered, you’ll need:

• At least three A-Levels, including a B in Maths
• An interest in working with numbers, problem solving and understanding how data can be used
• A positive attitude to learning new things and asking questions
• Good communication skills and a willingness to work with others as part of a team
• The ability to stay organised, manage your time and balance work with study
• Basic computer skills; some experience of Excel would be helpful, but we will help you develop this further

Alongside the responsibilities of your role, the level 4 apprenticeship programme will include two exams and a portfolio evidencing your work. WTW, together with an approved government training provider, will support you throughout the programme (including the necessary study materials, dedicated study time and access to a tutor).

Workstyles:

During your apprenticeship, we expect you to be in the Reigate office a minimum of four days a week to ensure that you receive the benefits of collaborating and learning from colleagues around you. However, we do offer a hybrid working environment at WTW. This means some flexibility to blend working from home and working in the office.
