AIG invites students to join its Summer Internship Program in Manchester, gaining hands-on experience in claims within Financial Lines and Casualty. The 8-week program blends on-the-job learning with masterclasses, leadership talks, and mentoring circles to foster development.

Interns work in a fast-moving global insurer, with opportunities to secure a permanent role in the Graduate Analyst program starting September 2028. Office-based collaboration is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028.
• Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector
• Evidence of extracurricular activities
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

• Motivated, proactive, accountable and willing to learn

Join our Claims Summer Internship Program and gain valuable insight into the claims process in the exciting world of insurance.

Our UK Summer Internship Program will run from 14 June to 6 August 2027 and internships will be available in Financial Lines and Casualty.

About the AIG Early Career Programme

AIG's Summer Interns are immersed in the day‑to‑day operations of a fast‑moving, global insurance company. During the 8‑week program, you will gain valuable, hands‑on experience and insurance industry knowledge, working with leaders on dynamic projects, with plenty of opportunity for challenges, learning and achievement.

Summer Interns join one of our key business teams, which offers a unique opportunity to obtain core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition to meaningful on‑the‑job experiences, interns will join instructor‑led masterclasses, hear directly from senior leaders, and build meaningful connections through mentoring circles, networking events and volunteering.

Following completion of the internship program, interns may be considered for a permanent role in the Graduate Analyst program beginning in September 2028.
