Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for our Chelmsford depot. Immediate starts, regular Monday to Friday shifts, and ongoing work with consistent assignments.

You must hold a UK driving licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card, and have at least 6 months of relevant driving experience. Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle category.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Hold a valid Driver Digital Tachograph Card and use it when driving.
• Have a minimum of 6 months' experience driving the relevant vehicle class.
• Be physically fit with heavy manual handling duties and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Completing collections and deliveries efficiently and safely.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of parcels at both depot and customer sites.
• Carrying out manual handling duties as part of daily operations.
• Using company-issued devices and software to update delivery statuses and communicate with the depot.
• Ensuring compliance with all road transport and driver regulations.

Location: Chelmsford Depot

Pay - £16.35 per hour and overtime after 40 hours £24

Start Date: Immediate Starts Available

Position Type: Ongoing Work

Our Chelmsford depot is currently seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team as soon as possible. This is an ongoing opportunity with regular Monday to Friday shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Completing collections and deliveries efficiently and safely.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of parcels at both depot and customer sites.
• Carrying out manual handling duties as part of daily operations.
• Using company-issued devices and software to update delivery statuses and maintain communication with the depot.
• Ensuring compliance with all road transport and driver regulations.

Shift Information

• Monday to Friday
• Start Time: 08:00 AM
• Ongoing work available

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a valid UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle category.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Hold a valid Driver Digital Tachograph Card and use it at all times when driving, both onsite and offsite.
• Have a minimum of 6 months' experience driving the relevant vehicle class.
• Drivers who have held their licence for between 6 and 12 months will be required to complete a driving assessment.
• Be physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling duties.
• Have a professional and customer-focused attitude.
