2 -3 DAYS MOTHER’S HELP/HOUSEKEEPER, ASAP START

A lovely, easy-going couple are seeking a proactive and experienced nanny/housekeeper to help them 2 or 3 days a week at their beautiful home in Ashdon, nr Saffron Walden. They have one happy baby boy who is 10 months, as well as two lively little dogs. This role would ideally suit someone just as happy to be in the role of nanny or housekeeper as theses duties will be roughly split 50/50.

Main duties will consist of helping to keep on top of the home – tidying, organising, laundry, ironing, and batch cooking for the little boy. Mum will be at home but would love to find someone experienced with babies so she can have some time to herself. She would love the nanny to come up with fun and creative ideas to do that will engage and stimulate their little boy – messy play, painting, reading etc and is happy to source what is needed.

The role will be either 2 or 3 days or even 2.5 if that is preferred (ideally not consecutive days). If working full days, the ideal hours would be 9-5pm but it would be great if the candidate has flexibility to start earlier or finish slightly later if needed from time to time. This will be covered by overtime. Equally, the couple would love to go out for dinner every few weeks so it would be appreciated if the nanny can offer one evening’s babysitting per month.

The role is to make the family’s life a little easier, but they are also keen to find someone who will become part of their family and feel happy and comfortable there.
