Job summary

Harmony Healthcare in East Grinstead is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist a male service user at home. You will provide 2:1 daytime support with one waking and one sleep-in nurse at night, helping him live safely, with dignity and independence.

Full training is provided and you will join a dedicated team committed to empathy, respect and person-centred care. A rota with regular shifts offers meaningful work and the chance to make a real difference in the client’s daily life.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Willingness to undertake clinical tasks or training.
• Strong communication with clients, families and care teams.
• Empathy, emotional intelligence and person-centred care values.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate 2:1 daytime support with 1 waking and 1 sleep-in night staff.
• Support with community access and social activities.
• Promote independence and dignity in all tasks.
• Provide emotional reassurance and wellbeing support.
• Communicate effectively with clinical, care and coordination teams.
