Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker in Beverley to assist a gentleman with daily living, hobbies and community involvement. The role requires empathy, patience and a friendly, supportive approach.

You will provide 2-to-1 support, assist with personal care and medication prompting, and offer emotional support during difficult times. Shifts are long days with flexibility for weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, patient and enthusiastic.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or positive behaviour support is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support to maintain independence within his home and local community, engaging in hobbies and goals.
• Provide 2-to-1 support to a gentleman.
• Prompting with personal care and administering medication.
• Support him emotionally during moments of distress.
