Join to apply for the 1st Line IT Support Technician (CTPSE) role at Thames Valley Police

Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) is a collaboration of the five South East police forces working with the UK Intelligence community to protect the public and national security.

The ICT Team supports this mission by handling technical tasks ranging from user support to developing bespoke solutions for innovative policing technologies.

The ICT Support Officer's responsibilities include resolving IT issues, maintaining connectivity across systems, identifying trends for further investigation, acting as a point of contact for technical facilities, and supporting daily IT functions. Experience in IT isn't mandatory; enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, good communication, and logical thinking are valued.

You will join a dynamic team committed to your development and embracing new technologies. Flexibility to travel across the South East region is essential, and a UK driving license is required.

Due to the nature of the work, security vetting at DV level is mandatory. Applicants must be British nationals residing in the UK for the past 10 years, with some exemptions. Further details about security vetting are available.
