Job summary

JDP in Uphall, Scotland, is seeking an experienced 18T HGV Driver to join our team at a newly relocated site. You will deliver civils and drainage products across Broxburn and surrounding areas, with Monday to Friday 8am–5pm and no weekend work.

Training is provided for HIAB when needed, and you will be customer-facing with a strong focus on safety and service. We offer a competitive salary, monthly bonus schemes, a contributory pension (up to 8%), and 25 days plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• A valid Class C licence.
• HIAB certification is desirable; training available for right candidate.
• Driver CPC training completed.
• A digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
• Strong understanding of driving hours rules and regulations.
• Ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of an 18T vehicle.
• Completing deliveries accurately and on time.
• Ensuring compliance with all driver and vehicle legislation.
• Representing JDP professionally at each delivery point.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining JDP's strong reputation.
