Job summary

Hill McGylnn Recruitment is seeking a Telehandler Operator to work on a live, occupied residential re-cladding project in Stevenage. You will operate an 18m telehandler (JCB/Manitou) safely, support site logistics and assist stores on a busy site.

The role requires strong safety awareness on occupied premises and a reliable, team-oriented approach. The position offers a permanent, full-time opportunity with a fixed 08:00–17:00 schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 18m telehandlers on live sites.
• Valid CPCS card (Blue preferred; Red with relevant experience considered).
• Strong health and safety awareness in occupied environments.
• Reliable and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 18m telehandler safely and efficiently.
• Support site logistics and material movements on a live site.
• Assist with general storesman duties.
• Carry out refueling duties as required.
• Work with site teams to support daily operations.
