Workshop Recruitment is recruiting a Hod Carrier for a 1–2 week assignment in the Bordon area. The role involves carrying bricks, materials and goods up and down scaffolding, mixing sand and cement, and supporting bricklayers with day-to-day site duties.

Candidates must be physically fit, hardworking and dependable, and must provide two sources of references. You may also be asked to carry out other labouring duties such as site clearance and site set-up.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Experience as Hod Carrier or similar construction role.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
• Hardworking, reliable and punctual.
• Experience mixing sand and cement.
• Confident carrying materials up and down scaffolding.
• Good awareness of site health and safety.
• Two satisfactory work references.
• Must live within travelling distance of Bordon.

Responsabilités

• Carry bricks, materials and goods up and down scaffolding.
• Mix sand and cement as required.
• Supply bricklayers with materials and equipment.
• Assist with moving and handling building materials around the site.
• Support the site team with general construction duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Complete manual handling and other duties as required.
