Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives. This role covers setting up temporary traffic controls, managing flow at lights, reading CAD drawings, and maintaining safety standards across sites.

You will work with direct labour and sub-contractors to meet targets and deadlines. Ideal candidates have relevant traffic management experience or qualifications, be able to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks, and have the Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Team player with good attitude and reliability.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Experience in traffic management operations is preferred.
• Must be able to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at required roads.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights and ensure public compliance.
• Report issues to site or operations manager.
• Maintain safe working practices and follow RAMS and Method Statements.
• Unloading/loading of materials as needed on site.
• Inspect and report plant and vehicle defects.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
