Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join our client projects. Operatives will work with direct and sub-contract labor to meet targets and deadlines, including setting up temporary traffic lights and managing traffic flow on site.

Candidates should have traffic management experience, be able to read CAD drawings, and be able to pass drugs and alcohol checks with the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in traffic management roles.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Be able to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks and have right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary signals and ensure public compliance.
• Report issues to site or operations manager and maintain safety.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and ensure compliance with RAMS.
• Set up and remove traffic management within required timescales.
• Assist with diversion of traffic and unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices and report defects to plant or vehicle.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
