Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to work on major UK traffic management projects. Roles include setting up traffic lights, managing flow, and reporting to site/operations managers.

Candidates should have 12D M5 Lantra qualification, be able to pass drugs/alcohol checks, and have Right to Work in the UK. Team players with a safety-conscious approach are preferred.

Qualifications

• Team player with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Experience or willingness to work in traffic management roles.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights and manage traffic flow.
• Report issues to site or operations manager.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within required time scales.
• Assist with unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with RAMS and Health & Safety at Work Act.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
