Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives, including M1/M2 operatives. The role involves setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, and reading CAD traffic management drawings to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management roles.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to RAMS and Method Statements.
• Comfortable reading CAD traffic management drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights and control traffic flow.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Report defects or issues to site or operations manager.
• Maintain timely completion of tasks and liaise with team.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required


• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this


• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager


• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work


• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.


• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.


• Setting up traffic lights.


• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.


• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.


• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.


• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.


• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.


• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.


• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
  

Skills & Experience

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications


• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check


• Right to Work in UK


• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
