Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join a leading traffic management client. We are seeking operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience, including M1/M2 roles.

Right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence are required. Successful candidates will set up traffic lights, manage traffic flow, interpret CAD traffic management drawings, and ensure health and safety compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
• Right to Work in UK
• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points)

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales
• Setting up traffic lights
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required


• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this


• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager


• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
