Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join a leading traffic management client roster. You will be setting up temporary traffic controls, coordinating with labour and sub-contract teams, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Ideal candidates will have Lantra TM qualifications, a valid UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and the ability to read CAD traffic management drawings.

Qualifications

• Lantra TM qualifications are required.
• Drugs & Alcohol check is required.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and managing temporary traffic lights and traffic controls.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and RAMS on site.
• Collaborating with direct and sub-contract labour to hit targets and deadlines.
• Reporting defects and incidents to site or operations managers.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
