Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to support traffic management on UK road schemes. The role involves setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, and ensuring public safety on site.

The ideal candidate will have Lantra traffic management qualifications, be able to read CAD drawings, pass a drugs/alcohol check, hold a full UK driving licence with limited points, and be available for on-site work across the UK.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management qualifications required.
• Ability to pass a drugs and alcohol check.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary signals and ensure public compliance.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with RAMS and Method Statements.
• Report defects to site or operations manager and assist with loading/unloading materials.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within required timescales.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
