Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. The role involves operating an IPV, setting up and maintaining traffic management sites in NHSS compliance, and reporting near misses to managers.

The ideal candidate will have Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications, be able to pass a drugs and alcohol check, and hold a full UK driving licence (max 6 points). Training opportunities and progression may be available.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications are required.
• Must pass drugs and alcohol check.
• Right to work in the UK with a full UK driving licence (≤6 points).

Responsibilities

• Drive an IPV.
• Set up, maintain and remove Traffic Management sites in NHSS compliance.
• Report near misses and issues to site/Operations Managers.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensure safe and effective team operations to meet quality standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware of RAMS and follow them.
• Safely load/unload Traffic Management equipment.
• Complete risk assessments.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.

What we are looking for

We are seeking Operatives with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• 12AB Traffic Management Foreman with IPV

Duties may include

Driving an IPV.

Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.

Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site or Operation Managers.

Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.

To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.

Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.

Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.

Complete Risk Assessments.

Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
