Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. The role involves driving an IPV, setting up and dismantling traffic management sites, and delivering safety-focused site briefings.

The candidate should have Lantra approved traffic management qualifications, be able to pass drugs and alcohol checks, have the right to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence with up to six penalty points. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence (with no more than 6 points).
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.

Responsibilities

• Driving an IPV.
• Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.
• Deliver site daily briefings.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensure RAMS and Health & Safety compliance on site.
• Complete Risk Assessments.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
• Report near misses to TSCO or Operations Managers.
• Work with crew to ensure high quality work plans.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking Operatives with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

Duties may include:

• Driving an IPV.
• Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.
• Deliver site daily briefings.
• Have a competent understating and implementation of 'Raising The Bar' document.
• Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site TSCO or Operation Managers.
• Work alongside your crew to ensure your teammates meet and maintain high quality work plans.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.
• Complete Risk Assessments.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
