Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join our growing team across the UK. We work with large traffic management clients and provide varied on-site roles with career progression.

Key duties include driving an IPV, setting up and maintaining traffic management sites to NHSS standards, reading CAD drawings, completing RAMS, reporting near misses, and performing daily vehicle checks to keep operations safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management and site setup.
• Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks.
• UK work eligibility and valid driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Driving an IPV.
• Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites to NHSS.
• Reporting near misses to site/Operations Managers.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensuring the team works safely and to quality targets.
• Complying with Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Being aware of RAMS requirements.
• Unloading/loading Traffic Management equipment safely.
• Following Method Statements for safe working practices.
• Completing Risk Assessments.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking Operatives with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• 12AB IPV OPERATIVE

Duties may include:

• Driving an IPV.
• Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.
• Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site or Operation Managers.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.
• Complete Risk Assessments.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
