Job summary

Softcat is offering a Commercial Internship Programme for university students in the UK. Over 12 months you will gain hands-on experience, lead real projects, and build skills that set you apart after graduation.

The start date is 5 July 2027, with a salary of £22,000 for the placement year. Locations include Marlow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and the South Coast, with relocation possible depending on role.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student in the penultimate year.
• Passionate about the tech industry and eager to learn.
• Interested in the commercial business area and its departments.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships externally and internally.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Join a specialist team and take on meaningful responsibilities and duties
• Collaborate and engage across departments to deliver top-tier service
• Build key skills such as communication, data skills, prioritisation, organisation and teamwork
• Work with other Softcat Interns on exciting group projects
• Learning about your team and department and how they contribute to Softcat's success
