Job summary

Softcat invites university students in the UK to join our Sales Internship Programme for a 12-month placement across multiple locations including Manchester, Marlow, London, and more. Start date 5 July 2027, with a salary of £22,000 plus bonus potential and a structured induction.

As a Sales Intern you’ll support SMB and Public Sector customers, gain hands-on experience on real projects, develop sales skills, and collaborate with fellow interns.

Qualifications

• A current undergraduate student at a UK university in penultimate year.
• Passionate about technology and sales.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and teamwork.
• Self-starter with resilience and drive to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Support SMB and Public Sector customers with their technology needs.
• Develop knowledge of sales processes including new business development and account management.
• Learn about Softcat products and how they benefit businesses.
• Build key sales skills such as communication and customer relationship management.
• Work towards team targets and KPIs with potential bonus payments.
• Collaborate with other Softcat interns on group projects.
