Job summary

Evolito, based in Oxfordshire, offers a 12-month Mechanical Design Industrial Placement. You will work with experienced engineers on live customer projects, contributing to design and development of components for electric propulsion products.

You'll produce 3D CAD models and drawings, support from concept to manufacture and verification, and receive mentoring to develop technical and professional skills. This placement is ideal for students in mechanical or aerospace engineering seeking

Qualifications

Enrolling in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electro-Mechanical Engineering and must complete an industrial placement year.
Experience with 3D CAD software (NX/CATIA/SolidWorks) is preferred.
Practical, analytical, collaborative mindset with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of components and assemblies for electric propulsion products.
Produce and modify 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings and supporting technical documentation.
Support projects from requirements and concept development through to manufacture, testing and verification.
Assist with material selection, design for manufacture and prototype build activities.
Contribute to design reviews, DFMEAs, development testing and technical investigations.
