Qualifications

• Applicants must be on target to achieve a minimum 2:2 honours degree in a relevant discipline (Manufacturing Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Business Management, Operations Management).
• Excellent problem solving and adaptability are valued for success in this placement.

Responsibilities

• Support daily management functions in an assembly, test or finishing area to meet output targets and metrics.
• Coach and develop a team from Operators to Team Leaders, promoting safety and core Caterpillar values.
• Contribute to continuous improvement ideas and drive changes across the area with mentoring and cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality and Product Engineering to build problem-solving skills.
